    This 0.6/1kV Aerial Bundle Cable (ABC) with PVC outer jacket is an integrated power transmission product specifically designed for low-voltage overhead power distribution systems. It uses aluminum alloy conductors as the conductive core, XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) as the insulation layer, and is wrapped with a PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) outer jacket. With a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV (0.6kV phase voltage, 1kV line voltage), it accurately adapts to scenarios such as urban and rural low-voltage overhead distribution backbone networks, industrial park branch power transmission, residential community centralized power supply, and power coverage in remote areas. Its three-layer structure of "aluminum alloy conductor + XLPE insulation + PVC outer jacket" not only retains the electrical performance advantages of XLPE insulation and the lightweight characteristics of aluminum alloy conductors but also enhances mechanical protection and environmental adaptability through the PVC outer jacket. It solves the problem that traditional ABC cables are susceptible to mechanical damage and UV aging in complex outdoor environments, becoming a preferred solution with reliability, economy, and protection in the low-voltage overhead power distribution field. It is especially suitable for overhead scenarios with high dust, high friction, or high protection level requirements.​ In terms of core specifications and structural design, the cable’s rated voltage of 0.6/1kV strictly complies with low-voltage power distribution system standards, enabling it to stably carry the regular power transmission tasks of low-voltage power grids (such as centralized power supply for multiple households in residential communities and power supply for small and medium-sized equipment in industrial parks). It can cope with load fluctuations during peak electricity consumption and avoid insulation breakdown or conductor overheating caused by voltage overload. The conductors are made of high-purity aluminum alloy (purity ≥99.5%, adding 0.5%-0.8% magnesium and 0.2%-0.5% silicon), with cross-sectional specifications ranging from 10mm² to 50mm². Different cross-sections correspond to different current-carrying capacities (10mm² can carry 45A, 50mm² can carry 120A), allowing users to flexibly select based on power distribution loads. The thickness of the XLPE insulation layer is adapted to the conductor cross-section (1.2mm-1.5mm insulation thickness for 10mm²-25mm² conductors, 1.8mm-2.0mm insulation thickness for 35mm²-50mm² conductors) to ensure sufficient dielectric strength (≥20kV/mm); the outer PVC outer jacket has a uniform thickness of 1.0mm-1.2mm, using weather-resistant PVC material, and the addition of UV absorbers and antioxidants improves adaptability to outdoor environments. The XLPE insulation layer has excellent electrical and temperature resistance properties: extremely low dielectric loss (<0.002), which can reduce energy loss during power transmission (line loss rate reduced by 15%-20%); long-term operating temperature up to 90℃, short-term overload temperature up to 130℃, which can withstand high-temperature exposure in summer and severe cold in winter (no embrittlement at -40℃); strong UV aging resistance, and the insulation resistance still maintains more than 80% of the initial value after 5000 hours of outdoor aging testing. The outer PVC outer jacket focuses on mechanical protection and environmental isolation: tensile strength ≥15MPa, which can resist friction and collision damage during overhead installation; excellent acid and alkali resistance, stable performance in environments with pH 3-11; outstanding waterproof performance, passing IPX4 waterproof test, which can prevent rainwater from seeping into the cable and causing short circuits, especially suitable for use in rainy and humid areas.​ From the perspective of scenario adaptability and practical advantages, the characteristics of this cable make it widely used in low-voltage overhead power distribution. In urban and rural low-voltage backbone networks, its bundled structure reduces the number of lines (traditional single-core cables require 3-4, while this cable only requires 1), reduces the usage of poles and fittings (cost reduced by more than 40%), and shortens the construction period; in industrial park branches, the oil resistance and chemical resistance of the PVC outer jacket can resist the erosion of workshop oil pollution and solvent volatiles, ensuring stable power supply for the production line; in residential communities, the lightweight design facilitates transportation and erection by construction personnel, and the low-smoke and halogen-free characteristics of the PVC outer jacket (complying with GB/T 17650 standard) reduce the release of toxic gases in case of fire, improving residential safety; in power coverage in remote areas, the corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy conductors and the weather resistance of the PVC outer jacket can adapt to the environment with large temperature differences and high wind and sand in mountainous areas, reducing the frequency of later operation and maintenance (maintenance cycle extended to 2-3 years/time).​ In terms of quality assurance, this cable strictly complies with international and domestic standards (IEC 60502-2, GB/T 14049), with full-process quality control. Conductor link: aluminum alloy materials must pass conductivity testing, salt spray testing (no corrosion for 500 hours), and tensile strength testing; XLPE insulation materials must pass thermal aging testing (stable performance after 1000 hours of aging at 135℃), dielectric loss testing, and voltage breakdown resistance testing (no breakdown for 1 minute under 1.5 times the rated voltage); PVC outer jacket must pass UV resistance testing (no cracking after 1000 hours of UV irradiation) and weather resistance testing (no abnormalities after 50 thermal cycles from -40℃ to 70℃). During the production process, automated bundling equipment is used to control conductor spacing (error ≤0.5mm), insulation thickness (error ±0.1mm), and jacket thickness (error ±0.05mm); finished product testing includes voltage withstand testing (no breakdown for 1 minute under 0.6/1kV voltage), insulation resistance testing (>1000MΩ·km), outer jacket integrity testing (no breakdown in spark testing at 10kV), and tensile testing (breaking tension ≥1.5kN). Only after all tests are qualified can the product leave the factory, eliminating quality hazards from the source and providing guarantee for the safe and stable operation of the low-voltage overhead power distribution system.​ Generally speaking, the 0.6/1kV ABC aerial bundled cable with PVC outer jacket, through the material synergy of aluminum alloy conductor, XLPE insulation, and PVC outer jacket, as well as the bundled structure design, perfectly solves the problems of weak mechanical protection, poor environmental adaptability, and high construction cost of traditional overhead cables.
